Job Summary:

The Assistant Track Inspector role is a critical position in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of rail infrastructure inspections.

This position requires strong leadership, effective planning, organisation, communication, and collaboration to deliver high-quality results.

  • Lead teams to plan, coordinate, and execute inspections effectively.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Manage and record faults appropriately to prevent delays and ensure continuous operation.

Key requirements include:

  • Cert II in Rail Infrastructure (mandatory)
  • Unrestricted 'C' Class Driver Licence (mandatory)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure maintenance, inspection standards, systems, and processes
