Job Title: Asset Management Coordinator

">Job Description:

The Perth Fire Service is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to support strategic planning and ensure accurate data collection, lifecycle analysis, and compliance with standards.

The role involves working with internal departments to manage GIS databases, monitor capital projects, and support infrastructure planning. Key duties include:

  • Implementing and maintaining the asset management plan and policies
  • Managing and analyzing asset and geomatics databases; performing lifecycle and condition assessments
  • Conducting field inspections and maintaining asset registry using tools such as GIS and Excel
  • Developing best practices for asset rehabilitation, renewal, and performance measurement
  • Collaborating with departments to establish risk management and service level standards
  • Preparing reports and recommendations for senior staff and Council

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in finance, accounting, GIS, civil engineering, or related fields, and experience in municipal finance or engineering focusing on capital infrastructure. Proficiency in GIS technologies, spatial database modeling, and asset management software is also required.
