Dental Clinician Position

The Royal Flying Doctor Service, Victoria, is seeking a highly skilled Dental Clinician to join their team. This rewarding role will provide an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a significant difference in the lives of rural and remote communities.

Job Description:

This position involves providing a range of clinical dental services, including examinations, oral health promotion, and treatment services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining effective practices for sterilisation and disinfection of instruments and equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. They will also have clinical competency in independent patient care and sound experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dental Science or a related discipline
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with no current conditions as a Dental Practitioner
  • Minimum of three (3) years' clinical experience as a Dentist within Australia
  • Availability to work a one week on and one week off roster
  • Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
