We are seeking a skilled Dentist to provide high-quality dental services in rural communities.

About the Role
  • This position involves delivering a range of clinical dental services, including patient care management, safety and infection control, as well as health promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
  1. To diagnose patients accurately and plan effective treatment within your scope of practice.
  2. Refer patients appropriately for specialist or private services when necessary.
  3. Identify high-risk patients and manage their care effectively.
  4. Maintain proper practices for sterilisation and disinfection of instruments and equipment.
  5. Manage and process dental records efficiently.
  6. Provide education on oral health and hygiene to patients.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Dental Science or a related field is essential.
  2. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Dental Practitioner is mandatory.
  3. A minimum of three years' experience as a Dentist in Australia is required.
  4. Availability to work a one week on and one week off roster is necessary.
  5. The ability to drive safely in both urban and rural areas is required.
  6. A commitment to delivering excellent patient-focused care is essential.
  7. Calm and rational decision-making skills are necessary in operational challenging situations.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
  9. Clinical competency in independent patient care is required.
  10. Familiarity with clinical patient record systems and Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
  11. Professional Indemnity insurance cover and current CPR certification are also required.
