Compensation Package

Job Description

The role of Chief Compliance Officer involves undertaking conflict searches, analysing reports and escalating potential issues for resolution. The successful candidate will take ownership of new business intake matters, carrying out full risk analysis and liaising with stakeholders. They will also ensure adherence to regulations and keep up-to-date with changes in the legal and regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake conflict searches and analyse reports to identify potential issues.
  • Take ownership of new business intake matters and carry out full risk analysis.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including partners, associates and member firms.
  • Evaluate and escalate potential risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain knowledge of changes in the legal and regulatory landscape.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum years' experience working in a business, legal or related professional services firm.
  • Interest in Risk and Compliance, with knowledge of commercial, political and risk issues affecting the business.
  • Excellent computer skills, with ability to switch between different database interfaces and online tools.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with ability to critically evaluate multiple sources.
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to prioritise work streams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and support others.
