Merchant Payment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchant Payment Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

This role involves working closely with customers to understand their payment needs and providing expert advice on how to meet those needs. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and developing strategies to achieve this.

  • Prioritize your pipeline daily for maximum efficiency.
  • Understand complex requirements and help create custom solutions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the product ecosystem and how it can benefit customers.
  • Create a great first impression for prospective merchants by using storytelling, case studies and other materials to inspire them about how we can benefit their businesses.
  • Represent our brand and product ecosystem in the national market.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous customer service experience and exceptional customer service skills.
  • A strong understanding of finance and banking.
  • The ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • The ability to master different technologies and multitask.
  • The ability to handle customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner.

  • A rotating roster operating between Monday and Friday, 8:00am and 8:00pm.
  • Initial 5 weeks classroom training in South Eveleigh.
  • Options to work from home after 3 months provided all performance expectations are met.
