  • As a key member of the Merchant Services team, you will be responsible for leading our Scheme and Regulatory Compliance function.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in either Credit Card or Merchant Services businesses, with subject matter expertise in the merchant products and payments industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on Payments Scheme and Regulatory environment, incorporating domestic and global trends to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure scheme compliance activity is prioritised by delivering a value for cost approach to risk management and compliance.
  • Make quarterly recommendations on regulatory and scheme changes, including prioritisation of work and funding required.
  • Represent Merchant Services at various schemes and industry bodies, ensuring our interests are represented.
  • Manage all internal compliance and regulatory reporting for Merchant Services.
  • Drive performance excellence by leading a team of specialist experts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in either Credit Card or Merchant Services businesses.
  • Subject matter expertise in the merchant products and payments industry.
  • Deep understanding of the scheme and regulatory environment.
  • Building and leading outperforming teams with outstanding engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build & maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
