Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to contribute to our renewable energy project in the Central-West Orana region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing access tracks, clearing vegetation, earth moving, and drainage installation.

This role requires strong physical abilities and the ability to work in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and possess relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Civil Construction.

We are looking for someone who is willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Track Construction: The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing access tracks, including clearing vegetation, earth moving, and drainage installation.
  • Foundation Work: The candidate will be required to perform foundation work for tower pads.
  • Bulk Earth Works: Bulk earth works and preconstruction work for substations will also be a key responsibility of the role.
  • Physical Labouring Tasks: General physical and manual labouring tasks as required will be an essential part of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction: Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Civil Construction.
  • Plant Operating Tickets: Plant operating tickets such as Grader, Excavator, Skid Steer, Dozer, Roller, and Compactor.
  • Full C Class Driver's License: Full C class driver's license at minimum.
  • Construction White Card: Construction white card.
  • Own Vehicle: Own vehicle.
  • Pre-Employment Checks: Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check.
