Job Summary

The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide person-centered care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve people-focused quality care.

This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing practice that respects the rights of individuals and groups in a multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams through written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records adhering to relevant legislation and policies.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by developing and implementing evidence-based practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication using information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations.
