Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Trainee to fill a key position within our healthcare team at the Goulburn Base Hospital.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver quality care to patients in a complex clinical environment. Medical Officers will work under an appropriate level of supervision according to their level of competence to evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages presenting in any condition.

Key Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification, with current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant medical board
  • Able to complete rotations as allocated and required
  • Excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, sharing information appropriately
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with adaptability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Able to prioritise workloads and display flexibility in a demanding and unpredictable clinical environment
  • Ongoing commitment to self-education and professional development
  • Minimum three years' experience in public hospital service (or equivalent)
