Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the Renal Ward at Goulburn Base Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of specialized kidney services.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a supportive and team-focused environment, delivering dialysis and renal treatments while developing their skills through ongoing professional development and access to modern facilities. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practice to advocate for and deliver person-centered care. Your expertise and clinical knowledge will enable you to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in the context of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care with a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care with a willingness to show leadership and embrace change in the coordination and delivery of care.
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position including evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
