Job Overview

The Clinical Nurse Consultant role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on stroke services in Southern NSW Local Health District. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders to implement a project plan and provide expert clinical input into service management, development, and delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of stroke services through expert clinical advice
  • Collaborate with the Senior Health Services Planner and key stakeholders to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of acute and rehabilitation stroke services principles
  • At least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience and relevant tertiary qualifications in the field or equivalent work experience
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and computer skills
