Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Chief Network Integration Officer. This role will play a critical part in our strategic development efforts, focusing on joint ventures and full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Chief Network Integration Officer to plan, develop, and implement integration with newly merged, acquired, or affiliated groups.
  • Advise and support in areas such as transition services agreements, decision-making, quality and safety concerns, internal and external relations, and shared services integration.
  • Lead the implementation of existing and new programs at SFMC and SMMC, working closely with strategy, operational teams, and physician leadership.
  • Develop a comprehensive physician workforce plan to determine the required number of MDs to meet network objectives by subspecialty.
  • Manage cultural compatibility of UCSF Health network sites and ensure proper change management in place for seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Network Integration Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Office of Affiliates to execute a comprehensive plan for operational continuity across the network.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or clinical degree, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum seven years of management experience in a complex healthcare organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare delivery models, business and strategic planning, financial management, and organizational development.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with medical center leaders and external agencies.
