Home Care Worker Opportunity in Port Macquarie

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Port Macquarie. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
- Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, fostering a sense of community and connection.
- Offer personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, with a focus on dignity and respect.
- Provide respite and emotional support, recognizing the importance of mental health and well-being.
- Transport customers to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia, with a commitment to person-centered care.
- A guaranteed number of hours close to home, as a permanent part-time employee.

- 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
- The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers.
- Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
- Comfort with working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, with a willingness to ask for help when needed.
