The Department of the House of Representatives offers a unique opportunity for graduates to gain valuable experience in parliamentary departments. The Graduate Program is designed to provide exposure to the work of the parliamentary departments in supporting the Parliament.

Graduates will have the chance to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. The program is ideal for high-performing graduates from a range of disciplines who are motivated and have strong research and analytical skills, effective communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.

To be considered for the program, applicants should submit their résumé and a one-page statement detailing their work experiences, skills, and knowledge gained during their graduate year. They should also provide a copy of their academic transcript and the names of two work-related referees, one of which should be their current supervisor.

Before applying, applicants should discuss their interest with their supervisor or Graduate Coordinator. They will be asked to note that they are in agreement with the applicant before submitting their application.
