**Disability Support Worker Role Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker to empower individuals living with disabilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support, helping clients live independently and achieve their personal goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assisting clients with personal care
- Helping clients with household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Accompanying and supporting clients during community outings and social activities
- Advocating for clients' needs and ensuring their rights are upheld
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Relevant experience in the aged care or disability support industry
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
