Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to complete a 4-year Apprenticeship as an Electrical Instrumentation Technician. As an apprentice, you will gain comprehensive on-the-job experience and classroom training to successfully complete your nationally recognized trade qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn about instrument and electrical equipment used site-wide, including maintenance, installation, and fault finding on electrical/electronic and pneumatic equipment.
- Operate a wide range of instruments and understand the principles involved in monitoring and controlling variables such as flow level, pressure, density, and temperature.
- Work on various equipment, from simple light and power installations to variable speed drives.
Requirements
- C class drivers license (provisional licenses accepted).
- Ideal candidates will have completed an Electrical pre-apprenticeship.
- Interest in machinery, engines, electronics, and precision equipment.
- Ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology.
- Enthusiasm, motivation, and a willingness to learn.
