Job Summary
Newmont Mining is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Apprentice High Voltage Electrician. As a member of our team, you will be involved in the maintenance, fault finding, and repair activities of Electric Rope Shovels, HV Power Supply, and Systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete a 4-year apprenticeship program and gain comprehensive on-the-job experience and classroom training required to successfully and confidently complete your nationally recognized trade qualification.
- Work on a 5:2:4:3, or 7:7 or 8:6 roster.
- Be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding, and repair activities of Electric Rope Shovels, HV Power Supply, and Systems.
Requirements
- Have a C class driver's license (provisional licenses are accepted).
- Ideally have completed a pre-apprenticeship in your preferred trade.
- Have an interest in machinery, engines, and electronics.
- Be able to think logically and keep up with advances in technology.
- Be enthusiastic, motivated, and a willingness to learn.
