Job Summary

Newmont Mining is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to complete a 4-year Apprenticeship as an Apprentice Auto Electrician. This role offers comprehensive on-the-job experience and classroom training to successfully complete a nationally recognized trade qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and servicing of electrical systems and components on the Heavy Mobile Equipment fleet.
• Gain hands-on experience with a variety of equipment, including 793 F Autonomous Trucks, D10 & D11 Track Dozers, and Caterpillar 7495 rope shovels.
• Participate in classroom training to develop skills and knowledge in electrical maintenance and repair.

Requirements

• C class drivers license (provisional licenses accepted).
• Pre-apprenticeship experience ideal.
• Interest in machinery, engines, and electronics.
• Logical thinking and ability to adapt to changing technology.
• Enthusiasm, motivation, and willingness to learn.
