Job Title: Key Account Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Strategist to manage a portfolio of corporate grocery accounts. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth, improve market share, and enhance customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of key corporate grocery accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve volume, net sales, and gross margin objectives.
  • Lead category review presentations with buyers to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Complete monthly account forecasts and present recommendations to ensure customer supply service level expectations are met.
  • Control trade spend for allocated portfolios and maintain accounting controls.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in National Account Management dealing with the Corporate Grocery channel.
  • Strong commercial acumen, planning, and organization skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented and solutions-driven.
