Job Title:

Workplace Trainer

This role involves supporting students in a work placement environment, facilitating their growth and development, while ensuring they meet the required standards. The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to assess student performance effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students during their work placement terms and liaise with the host organisation and ALG;
  • Conduct workplace visits whilst the students are on placement;
  • Monitor, conduct, and mark student assessments in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • A current vocational qualification at the Degree or Diploma level;
  • Relevant vocational experience (preferably 3+ years) in Mental Health and Community Service industries;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent);
  • Current Working with Children Check;
  • Current Police Check;
  • Own transport;
  • Medical certificate or document of flu vaccination if required by the host organisation;
  • Experience in teaching or training is desirable but not essential.
