Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant to join our Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your technical expertise and support our clients with statutory and strategic urban planning advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or contribute to strategic land use planning projects, including growth strategies, precinct plans, employment and housing studies, and technical inputs.
  • Provide high-quality planning analysis and advice based on current policies, regional and local priorities, and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Coach and develop team members as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an urban planning firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning and relevant legislation, ideally gained in consultancy or government settings.
  • Proficient understanding of strategic policies, processes, and land use issues.
