Urban Planning Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Urban Planner to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of strategic urban planning principles and methods, as well as the ability to apply them in a practical setting.

  • Provide advanced statutory and strategic urban planning advice and insights to clients.
  • Lead or contribute to the preparation of strategic land use planning projects, including growth strategies, precinct plans, employment and housing studies and supporting technical inputs.
  • Provide technical and management support to the Planning team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring committed projects are commercially viable.
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly and persuasively.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience within an Urban Planning firm-based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment.
