Senior Planner Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team. As a key member of our urban planning group, you'll contribute to delivering high-impact land use planning and policy projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the preparation of strategic land use planning projects, including growth strategies, precinct plans, employment and housing studies.
  • Providing expert analysis and advice on current government policies, regional and local priorities, and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborating with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure advisory, community planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Developing and reviewing reports, presentations, and public-facing documents that clearly communicate complex planning concepts.
  • Ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

About You:

  • You hold tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an urban planning firm-based environment is ideal.
  • You have strong knowledge of strategic planning and related legislation, gained in a consultancy or local/state government environment.
  • You possess a proficient appreciation and understanding of strategic policies, processes, and influences.
  • You appreciate the impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
