Heavy Vehicle Operations Manager Opportunity

The ideal candidate will lead a team in ensuring the safe and optimal operation of our workshop. This involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining vehicles to the highest standard and adhering to compliance policies.

This role entails coordinating staff training, rosters, underperformance, and disciplinary matters with HR and senior management. The successful applicant must also manage workshop finances and administrative tasks while monitoring results and meeting KPIs.

Key responsibilities include conducting quality checks, routine vehicle service requirements, and managing tools, parts, and consumable stock. Additionally, they will provide technical support and coordinate major jobs.

Certification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent is required along with a NSW Trade Licence. Diagnostic ability and skillset for required repairs are essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and solution-focused with a Class C Licence and/or willingness to obtain a HR Licence.
