Job Title: Workshop Mechanic

Join a small and autonomous team as a skilled mechanic to maintain plant equipment, systems, and structures in a dynamic production environment.

This role offers an opportunity to work independently on individual assignments and collaborate with cross-team projects while supporting learning across all plant areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain optimum asset health for plant equipment through regular inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and lubrications to ensure peak operational performance of the production facility.
  • Report information regarding subsequent work required, preventative maintenance issues, and completion of work order documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Fitter or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Confined space entry certification.
  • Elevated work platform training.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (desirable).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and use knowledge and initiative to solve problems promptly.
