Lead Commercial Lawyer - APAC & Middle East

As a key team member in our Legal department, you will play a vital role in helping our organization navigate commercial and corporate law by supporting strategic initiatives and business operations across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective legal and regulatory support for daily operations and new initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to help execute company-wide strategic priorities.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate agreements for Consumer Money Transfer, Payments, and Digital services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end customer value and display a customer-centric orientation.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in financial services law in an international law firm or corporate legal department of a multi-national corporation.
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law, admitted to at least one state bar in Australia or equivalent for any key country in the APAC or Middle East.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly from others and exercise sound judgment.
