Job Description:

• The Legal team plays a pivotal role in the organization by providing legal counsel, handling disputes, and creating and enforcing intellectual property. The team advises and enables commercial teams with legal advice and representation while protecting the company's interests.">
• Client Base: Commercial groups across the Asia Pacific Region embracing revenue, marketing, product marketing (pricing, promotion, and positioning) and commercial transformation.">
• Collaboration: Works closely with Product Legal and Privacy teams, Global Contracts Management teams, Corporate Legal function (including Litigation, Employment, and Legal Operations), and corporate finance, corporate governance, and compliance, investments, and acquisitions.">
• Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Supports litigation and other dispute resolution processes.">
• Education and Awareness: Provides education and awareness to client groups on relevant laws and practice.">

Responsibilities:

1. ">
2. Oversee advice and support for commercial teams and all commercial activities across ResMed's APAC region.">
3. Manage a team of lawyers located in various countries across the APAC region.">
4. Partner with senior commercial management and play a key role in senior commercial leadership teams across the APAC region.">
5. Analyze regional legal and corporate risk, offering alternatives and recommendations as required.">
6. Draft and negotiate major commercial contracts in support of commercial activities across the APAC region.">
7. Advise and support commercial activities including Sales, eCommerce, Distribution, commercial transformation, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Compliance.">
8. Coordinate activities with global counterparts to deliver repeatable and predictable legal advice to commercial clients.">
9. Provide support in the APAC Region to other legal functions.">
10. Attend special projects assigned from time to time.">
11. Ad hoc travel across the APAC region and to the US.">
