Compliance Management Role

The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the transportation fleet adheres to all laws and regulations. This position involves organizing and maintaining owner operator lease agreements, random drug screenings, and filing paperwork with relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor unsafe driving practices and counsel owner operators on safe driving techniques.
  • Audit driver vehicle inspection reports, timecards, and maintenance records to promote compliance.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new owner operators, including orientation, initial drug and alcohol screenings, and background checks.
  • Maintain the fuel card program and create safety-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Investigate and report accidents to supervisors and management through root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with the transportation supervisor to establish events within the software.
  • Create purchase requisitions for maintenance vendors in SAP/HANA 4.
  • Prepare monthly reporting insurance, compliance/legal, and internal team members.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable and customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP/HANA 4.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management and organization skills.
