This is a critical role within Cuscal Limited, where you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate APRA regulatory reports.

As a Financial Analyst Regulatory Reporting & Treasury professional, you will work closely with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure timely reporting. Your daily tasks will include monitoring and reconciliation for the Treasury function, responsibility for internal reporting and monitoring of prudential limits, and ensuring a robust control environment where risk is managed on a daily basis.

Here are some key aspects of this role:

  • Ownership and maintenance of the team's regulatory reporting requirements calendar
  • Preparation and submission of Group Finance's APRA reporting requirements, primarily including Balance Sheet, Liquidity, Risk and Capital Adequacy reporting
  • Collaboration with finance, risk, and compliance teams to gather and validate data for reporting purposes
  • Data analysis and completeness of regulatory returns
  • Assistance in Regulatory Capital reporting to the Board and sub-committees
  • Preparation of Regulatory Capital forecasting
  • Support and inputs to the Risk team to assist them in discharging their APRA governance and risk management duties
  • Daily Treasury control functions (P&L review, reconciliations)
  • Daily and monthly monitoring of prudential limits (e.g., APS 110/111 Capital, APS 221/222 exposures) in line with internal policy and APRA requirements
  • Detailed analyses of treasury data to identify trends and variances

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in an APRA/Regulatory reporting function within the banking sector
  • Strong ability to deliver process improvements
  • Experience producing financial result analysis for management
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or certification is highly regarded

Estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
