About the Role

As our Compliance Director, you'll be responsible for embedding and uplifting our compliance program and risk frameworks across the ANZ function.

Your key remit will be to strengthen and enhance compliance & operational risk, with a particular focus on sales and marketing processes.

You'll work closely with stakeholders and business units to develop a strong compliance and risk culture and drive continuous improvement.

Your ability to build on a strong risk and regulatory framework through continuous improvement will be crucial to your success.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead and upskill the Compliance and Risk Team while ensuring timely completion of all compliance and risk tasks and reporting.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders and business units to develop a strong compliance and risk culture and develop initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop, uplift, and embed compliance and risk frameworks across the broader organisation.
  • Facilitate compliance and risk workshops and training sessions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years' experience in leading, managing, and developing compliance teams.
  • 5+ years in a Compliance Risk or Audit role.
  • An ability to be both strategic and hands-on in delivering objectives.
  • Extensive experience developing, embedding, and advising on risk/compliance obligations, processes, and controls.
  • Uses significant judgement application to business problems.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and establish strong relationships.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and demonstrate high levels of initiative.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as:
