Procurement Specialist - Logistics Expertise

We are seeking a skilled logistics expert to lead the development of strategic sourcing plans, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive sustainability initiatives.

  • Strategic Sourcing: Analyze market trends and business needs to design effective sourcing strategies for transportation services across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee contracts related to road and sea freight, the transportation of hazardous materials and industrial gases, and the delivery of materials for new plant construction projects.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor supplier performance, optimize costs, and forecast future sourcing needs.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate supply chain risks through strategic planning and proactive problem-solving.
