We are currently seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. This part-time role will involve providing vital procurement and logistics support within the Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV) Branch.

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.","
  • Support Foreign Military Sales cases and international sourcing requirements.","
  • Engage with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), local industry partners, and global suppliers to deliver equipment, parts, and services that support AFV programs.","
  • Procure and track items such as vehicle protection systems, electronic components, mobility subsystems, repair parts, consumables, and specialist test equipment.","
  • Contribute to logistics and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities, supporting schedule alignment, budget tracking, and supplier performance management.","
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).","
  • Minimum 3–5 years' procurement experience, ideally within Defence or a highly regulated sector.","
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Defence procurement frameworks, FMS processes, and international trade compliance.","
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.","
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite.","
  • Current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
