Procurement Manager Role
About the JobWe are seeking an experienced procurement manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, identifying and recruiting potential candidates, and assessing their knowledge, skills, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Analyse data to inform procurement decisions.
- Formal qualifications in Business or Logistics.
- Proven direct experience as a procurement specialist within supply chain logistics.
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using procurement software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and also part of a team.
- Deep understanding of 3PL, company-based Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Logistics.
