About the Role

Gallagher is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to join our Australian Broking Finance team in a 12-month contract position. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, develop financial models and forecasts, and collaborate with department business leaders to align financial plans and objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, conduct detailed financial analysis, and develop key performance indicators to track business performance.
  • Provide financial insights for strategic initiatives, partner with business leaders on new projects, and support long-term financial strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of financial Business Partners and Analysts, promoting collaboration and driving outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, support, and develop a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
