We are seeking a Grain Quality Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you working in our Esperance Zone on a full time 6-month fixed term basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to site staff regarding current quality standards and any issues related to quality systems.
  • Coordinate and deliver grain quality training for CBH staff to ensure compliance with CBH grain quality practices.
  • Evaluate contaminated commodities, ensuring the required documentation and CBH processes are adhered to.
  • Provide guidance to growers on current quality standards.
  • Ensure the zone is effectively controlling grain insects and other pests; detection and management of chemical residues and other contaminants; effective segregation, handling, and testing of GM and non-GM grains.
About You
  • You have previous experience in grain sampling combined with the ability to successfully complete the CBH Grain Sampling certificate.
  • You possess proven ability to plan and communicate effectively, manage competing priorities, and operate Microsoft Office software.
  • Prior experience in the delivery of training is desirable.
  • You can work at heights, bend, stretch, lift, climb, and be physically fit according to CBH operational worker pre-employment medical requirements.
