Accident Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled claims professional to join our team in Darwin, NT. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing claims related to motor accidents in the Northern Territory and interstate.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret legislation. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage claims for individuals injured in motor accidents in the Northern Territory on behalf of MACC (Motor Accident Compensation Commission).
- Manage claims for individuals injured in motor accidents interstate who have an entitlement under the Motor Accidents (Compensation) Act (NT).
- Identify and pursue relevant recovery options under applicable legislation.
- Maintain a focus on strategic collaboration and case management to maximise early resolution of claims.
- Ability to interpret legislation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
