Portfolio Operations Leader

This is a pivotal role that will continue to drive ongoing improvements in the way continuous improvement (CI) ideas are prioritised and delivered. The leader will oversee the end-to-end process for CI delivery, ensuring planning and delivery processes are fit for purpose, understood by relevant stakeholders, and operating as intended.

The Portfolio Operations Leader will be responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of improvement ideas and initiatives, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders across the organisation. This includes facilitating prioritisation workshops, delivery planning sessions, and other forums as needed, capturing and tracking key actions and outcomes.

The successful candidate will leverage technology solutions to support business processes, manage the flow of information, and provide visibility of delivery progress. They will also lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices.

In addition, the Portfolio Operations Leader will collate data and develop reports on delivery performance across the organisation. They will foster strong working relationships with stakeholders, liaise with cross-functional delivery teams, and identify risks/issues and resolve blockers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the end-to-end process for CI delivery
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of improvement ideas and initiatives

  • Leverage technology solutions to support business processes
  • Lead change management efforts

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience managing business processes and implementing strategies to drive quality and efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think on your feet, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
  • Familiarity with agile delivery practices and software development processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use tools to discover and communicate key insights into meaningful and visual reports
  • Able to build strong and positive relationships across teams and with stakeholders at all levels
