Operational Excellence Manager

This role is open to applicants based in major cities across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to support leadership across all levels of a network of compounding facilities, leading a cultural shift from being reactive to proactive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embed the Baxter Operating System (BOS) principles across all levels, focusing on leadership development.
  • Lead and mentor the operations transformation team, providing guidance on BOS implementation and continuous improvement projects.
  • Mentor project leads in applying BOS problem-solving techniques to drive sustainable improvement initiatives.
  • Drive cultural change towards proactive problem-solving and long-term system stability.
  • Develop and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for every process.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing management or engineering.
  • Proven track record in lean transformation with deep understanding of Toyota Kata.
  • Experience in coaching leaders through daily improvement routines.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to lead change without direct authority.
