Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of mixed corporate clients, taking a proactive approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Insurance Solutions Development: Describe insurable risk to clients, design appropriate insurance solutions, and negotiate and manage the best deal in the global insurance market.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with underwriting partners and build strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
- Financial Management: Manage your own budget, sales plan, and debtors to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentoring and coaching to more junior employees to develop their skills and knowledge.
- New Business Development: Drive new business development and identify opportunities to grow the business.
- Brand Promotion: Promote the Gallagher brand within the local business community, region, and nationally.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to mid to large corporate accounts.
- Sales Orientation: Strong sales orientation with the ability to build a long-term pipeline to support new business growth.
- Account Management: Strong account management experience gained within general commercial insurance.
- Results Delivery: A proven track record of delivering both financial and operational results.
- Communication and Negotiation: Highly developed communication and negotiation skills complemented by a driven, passionate, and professional disposition.
