**Incident Management Specialist Role Overview**

Auto & General is seeking a skilled Incident Management Specialist to join their team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring robust incident and breach management, meeting regulatory and business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage incidents through their lifecycle: investigation, reporting, rectification, and closure.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Develop and deliver compliance education and awareness programs.
  • Provide compliance advisory services to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure effective incident management.

**Accountabilities and Performance Metrics:**

  • Accurate documentation of all incident management activities.
  • Effective analysis and presentation of incident data to inform decision-making.

**Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years in an insurance business or compliance incidents management role.
  • Experience in the general insurance industry is highly regarded.
  • Previous compliance or legal experience is highly regarded.
  • Experience with risk management systems.
  • Leadership and engagement skills, with the ability to manage SME experts effectively.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
