Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with senior management and department heads to develop and implement HSE strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on HSE matters, including training and coaching on safe work practices and procedures.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of HSE incidents, near misses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and implement updates to our HSE policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Senior HSE Advisor with a strong background in principal contractor responsibilities.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in report writing and basic computer skills, with experience in commissioning permit systems and isolation procedures.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HSE role, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
