Job Description

As a Senior Career Advocate, you will lead a team and provide operational support to assist the caseload by providing support to individuals/participants to overcome barriers and develop their capacity. We will provide the training and support so you can successfully work with individuals, develop their skills, and identify employment opportunities and career paths.

Conducting one-on-one coaching that recognises a young person's existing skills and defines them by their future aspiration.">Co-designing a young person's career roadmap, agreeing on goals and timeframes to develop skills and gain meaningful employment.">Building relationships with community organisations and local stakeholders.">Engaging local employers to understand their needs.">Placing appropriately trained young people into known or advertised positions.">Using established employer networks to promote transferable & recently gained skillsets.">Conducting monthly performance review meetings.">">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • ">
  • Have experience in Employment Services.">
  • Have experience working towards and achieving KPIs.">
  • Have passion or experience in working with young people from a variety of different backgrounds.">
  • Be a results-driven and motivated individual with a high level of initiative – experience in sales, retail, or travel highly regarded.">
  • Possess excellent administration and time management skills.">
  • Satisfy a pre-employment check including a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.">
