Senior Energy Storage Engineer

As a key member of our Energy Storage Systems team, you will provide leadership in product development and project delivery by establishing processes and creating technical documents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the PCS and Power Plant Controller implementation, validation tests, and troubleshooting of the battery storage system.
- Work with vendors and customers to determine system requirements and verify our solution meets customer expectations.
- Perform in-depth evaluation of the implemented control system as per project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain PCS solution technical documents such as design philosophy, calculations, datasheets, diagrams, and layouts.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power systems and Power Electronics.
- Deep technical knowledge of grid-forming inverters acquired from either research or field experience.
- Knowledge of battery energy storage or utility scale solar grid integration.
- Experience working on PSCAD, PSS/E, and other power system modeling software.
- Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming, preferably Simatic S7 PLC series.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as UL 1741 SA, IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, and ISO requirements.
- Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, rapid growth environments.
