The Organisation

Our client, an industry-leading organisation in Australia & Globally, is looking for an experienced Payroll Professional to assist with their current system implementation.

It is a busy environment with multiple payrolls and many complex awards/internal EBA's. They seek a strong Payroll professional experienced in projects, passionate about continuous improvement and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading payroll projects and managing stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of end-to-end payroll improvement projects, from concept to implementation.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Track project progress, create status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Partner with system administrators and vendors to resolve issues.
Optimize Performance - About You

The successful applicant will have proven payroll project management experience in complex environments:

  • Strong knowledge of EBAs, awards, and payroll legislation.
  • Experience with a prior implementation project.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Background in high-volume environments.
  • Hands-on payroll processing experience with large payroll sizes.
