Job Role

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our team in managing and maintaining client portfolios. This role involves preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and other compliance obligations for various entities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain client portfolios with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Attend to compliance obligations including income tax, GST, superannuation, land tax, and stamp duty.
  • Develop and review taxation advice to support clients' business growth.
  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and financial models to inform business decisions.
  • Provide expert tax and accounting solutions to clients across various industries.
  • Handle SMSF administration and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external parties to facilitate smooth client affairs.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify areas for improvement.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in public practice or a related field.
  • A CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MYOB, QuickBooks, and Xero, as well as other relevant software.
  • A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and desire for continuous learning and improvement.
