Rehabilitation Therapist Role

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Therapist to join our dynamic interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will have a passion for managing a varied fast stream rehabilitation caseload and delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients of varied diagnostic groups.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services through assessment, treatment, planning, and evidence-based practice.
  • Contribute to program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development programs.
  • Offer supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students.

We offer an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services across various specialties, including orthopaedics, neurology, cardiac, falls and balance, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation in the home, and pain management.

Selection Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation assessment and intervention.
  • Experience in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork.
