Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist Role

The primary objective of this position is to facilitate and manage occupational rehabilitation programs that yield positive outcomes for injured workers.

You will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders, including medical professionals, referring agencies, employers, and allied health practitioners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong working relationships with clients
  • Managing a caseload of injured individuals
  • Providing expert advice on injury prevention and occupational rehabilitation strategies
  • Conducting thorough assessments, evaluating client progress, and preparing comprehensive reports
About You

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Professional Rehabilitation
  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the occupational rehabilitation sector
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and report writing skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Motivation to self-manage workload and priorities

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role.
