About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at NSW Ambulance. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency vehicles and hospitals.
  • Assess and manage patients' medical conditions, using your clinical skills and knowledge to make informed decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, including police, fire, and emergency services, to respond to emergencies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Certificate to Practice or current registration as a Paramedic with the Paramedic Board of Australia.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to acquire LR licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High standard of clinical care and knowledge, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
