As an On-Call Firefighter with NSW Government, you will play a vital role in protecting people, property, and the environment in your local community. You will work from your local Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Fire Station and be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties, including community fire safety work, attending fires and other emergencies, and collaborating with other emergency services.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake community fire safety work, including education and outreach programs
- Attend fires and other emergencies, such as motor vehicle accidents or chemical hazards
- Collaborate with other emergency services, including NSW Ambulance, NSW Rural Fire Service, and NSW Police
- Participate in training sessions and community safety activities
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P1)
- Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- Live and/or work within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station
